About
"If only you know aleph (the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet) teach aleph!"
Judaism teaches that you don't have to be rich to give to the poor, you don't have to be a scholar in order to teach the ignorant, and you don't have to be perfect in order to help others perfect themselves.
Established in 2005 by Rabbi Yair and Chanie Yelin, The Alef Center is dedicated to increasing the awareness, knowledge and observance of Judaism in the North County communities of San Diego.
Its purpose is to reach out to all Jews, regardless of age, affiliation or level of observance, and share the warmth of Judaism.
